Entrepreneurs Circle Entrepreneurs Circle: An Immersive AV Experience for New HQ The Challenge Entrepreneurs Circle (EC), a business mentoring group led by Nigel Botterill and Cameron Botterill, approached BoomSpace with a unique challenge: transform their new Solihull HQ into an immersive, AV-rich environment that inspires, educates, and engages. The space wasn’t a conventional office. EC’s events are high-energy, face-to-face experiences where top-tier members collaborate, present ideas, and receive mentoring. Their old office setup, a TV with Apple TV and a basic MP3 recorder was holding them back. With a multi-million investment into their new space, EC needed smart, intuitive AV that could support dynamic live events, training sessions, and branded content delivery, all without constant IT intervention. The Boom Solution We approached the brief with creativity and precision by designing intelligent AV systems tailored to each unique space. Live Event Spaces In the main training room, used four times a week, we installed a 136″ LED video wall, ceiling speakers, ‘Madonna-style’ mics, and stage lighting. All elements controlled via a custom panel with eight lighting and signage presets. Presenters can now run shows effortlessly, with content and mood changes triggered at the touch of a button. Confidence & Control We added a confidence monitor for presenters to see their slides without breaking eye contact with the audience, and installed discreet control systems, giving staff autonomy over digital signage, stage lighting and background music, no calls to support needed. Branded Experiences From custom signage in the breakout area to a directional “sound shower” speaker playing EC’s motto in the form of 80’s Bananarama tune, allowing the environment to be deeply immersive. The much-talked-about “disco toilets”, complete with reactive lighting and music, showcase how fun, brand-aligned AV can elevate visitor experience. Functional Collaboration Spaces Each room was designed to be fit-for-purpose. Smaller training rooms feature collaboration screens and surface-mounted speakers. The “clinic room” is now a fully equipped webinar and podcast studio. And the premium “Mastermind Room” boasts a 98″ interactive display, Shure MXA920 beamforming mic, and seamless Barco wireless presentation. Proactive Project Leadership With the main contractor lacking a programme, BoomSpace stepped up by producing detailed M&E drawings and coordinating with trades to ensure critical milestones were hit. We also resolved Zoom account conflicts and simplified remote IT access.
